Job Requirments

We are seeking a college intern or graduate student with classroom, work, or research experience in basic ecology, invasive species and ecosystem management, as well as an ability to communicate with the public via social media and directly through interpretive guided hikes. Specific duties may include organizing and collaborating with local stewardship groups for invasive species control, assisting in the implementation of our long-term management plan, assisting with K-12 educational activities, attending advisory board monthly meetings, managing the dunes preserve website and social media platform, and developing an independent research project with collaboration of faculty from Grand Valley State University Biology Department.
